Founded in 2000, Cardinal began as a small flooring storefront on Watson Road in Marlborough. The original owners had a clear vision: to provide the highest quality products and service in the flooring industry. In 2008, the current ownership group took the reins, continuing that same commitment to excellence while setting the stage for growth and innovation.
After quickly outgrowing the original retail space, Cardinal expanded its services in 2012 to include kitchen remodeling and an expanded range of flooring options. That same year, the company relocated to a larger showroom just down the road in Shrewsbury. By 2020, with continued growth and a loyal customer base, Cardinal made another strategic move — this time to Gravois Bluffs in Fenton. This larger facility gave us the opportunity to expand into semi-custom cabinetry and the fabrication of one-of-a-kind home improvement projects.
